Indigenous Aerospace is a partnership with Volatus Aerospace Corp. We create sustainable growth, well-paying good quality jobs, and a national appreciation of how Indigenous-owned and operated businesses and employees can contribute to the economy. We develop the full potential of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) throughout First Nations communities in Canada by providing training, equipment, and related services.

INSPECTION, IMAGING & DATA CAPTURE

Through our partnership with Volatus Aerospace, we can deliver the benefits of RPAS technology to First Nations communities. Volatus is a North American leader in RPAS aerial inspection, image and data capture. Trusted experts in all industry-specific products, including cutting-edge technology for new use cases and enterprise solutions.

All activities originate with skilled drone operators, including the best community-based drone uses. Our current mission is to build skilled drone operators within an initial group of First Nations. We seek to provide collective economic benefits and build Indigenous human capital in the Canadian drone sector.

Training

Our partner, Volatus Aerospace, has a wide breadth of aviation knowledge and experience – traditional helicopter and fixed-wing pilots, aircraft maintenance mechanics, teachers, veteran service members and experts in remote and autonomous operations training and support. We leverage their expertise to train First Nations community members. We also provide consultancy to First Nations who wish to deploy UAV solutions, including creating policies, training community members, managing and meeting regulatory requirements.

Design, Manufacturing, and R&D

Through our partnership with Volatus Aerospace we are developing UAV solutions to meet the needs of Canadian First Nations communities, especially those that are remote. These solutions include continuous autonomous drone operations, cargo delivery, and emergency response UAV-enabled solutions.

Equipment Sales & Maintenance

We offer a wide range of UAV products that meet First Nations’ needs. In addition, we provide maintenance and replacement services. It is our intention to build maintenance skills in the communities we supply so that those communities can become independent and their RPAS industry self-sustaining.

CARGO FRANCHISE & DISTRIBUTION CHANNELS

We are building our cargo UAV solutions, specifically designed to meet the challenging environments of Northern Canada. Our intention is to ensure that there is a robust RPAS infrastructure comprised of both human capital in the form of RPAS technical, operations, and data management skills, and physical assets.
